I’ve been neglecting the shop since the flooding almost four months back.
We took on some water.
Today was a blow off day. Tomorrow? Everything goes outside for a good cleaning.
The lesson learned?
Don’t be a lazy arsehole like me.

Whoa! How much water got into the shop?

It’s understandable. That much cleanup is hard to confront.

It was about 2' deep in the shop and 15-18" in the yard.
I had neighbors parking their cars about a half mile away and using a flat bottom to get to and fro.

True. I could have made an effort though.
I’m two weeks sober now. Things are already changing for the better.

Fun.
Is that mold I see on the bench supports?

There may be a little mold. Some of that is marking from storing spare tires.

Ah, ok. If that’s wood (kinda looks like door material from here), it might be time to look for something else to hold the bench up. Something that’s resistant to mold growth, or at least easy-to-clean.

Yeah, those are cut down fire doors. The countertops are the only things that get saved.
On the plus side, I’ll have a heck of a fire going tomorrow night.
